Recently, N+P Alternative Fuels Ltd, a subsidiary company of N+P International, signed a mid-term contract for the supply of refuse derived fuel (RDF) into a large Energy-from-Waste (EFW) facility in Germany.
The RDF is used as fuel for the production of steam and electricity at the RWE's Energy-for Waste facility in Essen. This relevant multi-annual fuel supply contract, starting in December 2014, is another important step in its European growth strategy.
N+P will source and supply the RDF from the United Kingdom and will use its developed logistic chain to guarantee the supply of contractual volumes.
Karel Jennissen, Chairman of the N+P Group:
“As a company we want to be the leading company in the production and supply of alternative fuels in Europe. Our fuels are produced, sourced and supplied throughout complete Europe, we have invested in the past five years in production facilities, quality management and in our sustainable logistic chain to enhance our market position at the end users of alternative fuels. So far we can consider our growth strategy as very successful, the current annual tonnage of alternative fuels, such as SRF, RDF, TDF and Subcoal®, supplied by N+P throughout Europe exceeds 1.1 mio t/yr. We will be in the position to announce new fuel supply agreements on short term this strengthens our position even further.”
